Physician Portal

Physician Portal provides physicians with a listing of their hospitalized patients; demographic, insurance and billing information; next of kin; order information; laboratory test results; and radiology transcription. This information can only be accessed by physicians on Western Baptist Hospital’s medical staff.

MobileCare Rounding

McKesson’s Horizon MobileCare Rounding application provides real-time access to patient information using a Windows Mobile™ Pocket PC (PPC) or Palm handheld Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).  This application allows each physician to personalize the information to fit their workflow’s needs, while normalizing the data to fit the PDA’s display parameters.

The following data is available in Horizon MobileCare Rounding

• Census - displays the patient census based on the Census Type and Patient Type preferences selected
• Patient Demographics – provides patient location, medical record number, birth date, admission date, admitting diagnosis, insurance information, emergency contact, allergies and all Covering physicians
• Vitals – displays the last recorded vital by shift or past 24 hours
• I & O – displays the net totals by shift or past 24 hours
• Meds – displays the medication name, dosage, status, route frequency, start/stop date and last given
• Lab Results – lists the test, collected date and time, result status and the test result
• Radiology Results – lists the exam, date performed, results status and transcribed report
• Transcription – lists the type, status, dictating physician and any transcribed reports
